Chappaqua Wrestling Return With New Single 'Full Round Table'

Chappaqua Wrestling have triumphantly returned, newly signed to EMI and with latest single 'Full Round table' heralding more music to come.
The track is an indie powerhouse - a mastery of tension and release lends a heart-in-mouth quality to the build-up, starting with an ominous bassline and reaching giddy crescendo as the drums break and the first chorus swells. Charlie Woods' voice, ever suited to guts-and-glory delivery, rises and rises with a strength entirely matched to the single's stadium energy.

'Full Round Table' - though we'd never dream of tagging it Britpop or baggy - radiates a certain bombast and a Gallagher/Brown/Ashcroft spit and swagger that's moshpit-ready and signifies a new high in confidence and studio performance for the group.
The band explain the genesis of the track: ‘We wrote Full Round Table as a reaction to the endless negativity put in our faces about our generation’s future. So much news is greeted with the response of how screwed we are - hopeless views from unhelpful people. Negativity about youth is relative per generation but today it feels stronger. We want to ignore the cynicism, get together, appreciate what really matters, and not let people tell us what we can't do. The Full Round Table is full of our friends, and that’s not changing.’
